„Das Dritte Reich und wir” is a participatory project in which ten municipalities in Germany are given the opportunity to work through the Nazi history of their community together in workshops and to present their results to the local public, mostly in the form of an exhibition.
The project is currently active in Munich, Oerlinghausen, Egling an der Paar, Heynitz, Radeberg, Sankt Georgen im Schwarzwald, Dietramszell, Gießen, Kraichtal-Neuenbürg and Pfungstadt. „Das Dritte Reich und wir” is a cooperation between the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and the German Fire Brigade Association. The project is funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education and the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community.
